The Ricardo Pires Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy is the premier location in Northeast Ohio for authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  The academy is located just outside Cleveland in the city of Beachwood.

The Ricardo Pires Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy was developed to teach and promote the genuine art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our school is for everyone that is looking to improve the overall quality of their lives. 

Our goal is to set the standard as a model for instruction. Classes follow a structured curriculum of teaching allowing everyone to learn at their own pace. The programs were developed to teach each student with maximum efficiency, in a safe environment, wherein the entire family can participate. Our Fundamentals class allows everyone to start training and feel comfortable from the very first day. In addition to learning the most effective martial art and self-defense system in the world, our students will also learn the values of respect and discipline while improving their physical conditioning, self-esteem and wellness in a way no other regular workout could provide.

We promote all this learning and training in a “family environment” with safety as our utmost concern. We have designed programs for men, women, children and the serious competitor.
